THERMOGRAPHY or DIGITAL INFRARED THERMAL IMAGING (DITI) is a clinical imaging procedure of the body that aids in the diagnosis and prognosis of various diseases, physical injuries, unexplained pain and other conditions through detection and monitoring of thermal abnormalities present in the body. An infrared scanning device is used to convert infrared radiation emitted from the skin surface into electrical impulses that are visualized in color on a monitor. This visual image graphically maps the body temperature and is referred to as a thermogram.

Holistic healing has been a way of life for me since I was a child. My mother instilled in me that good nutrition, exercise, alternative therapies, and other natural ways of living were critical to the healthy, balanced development of one’s self. I‘ve experienced, and have been witness to the power of natural healing for over 40 years.
It was in 2008 that my interest in thermography grew to eventually become my vocation. I had experienced a health scare, that lead me to get a breast thermography scan, rather than a mammogram, due to my belief in naturopathic approaches. I was so impressed with the simple non-invasive, no radiation scan, and the results, that it inspired me to pursue thermography as a career. By 2009, I had become a Certified Clinical Technician (CCT) with a Level I Thermography Certification, and with further training, earned my Level II Thermography Certification one year later.
In 2010, I founded Midnight Sun Healing to provide a preventative medicine approach in a professional, caring environment that can help people better understand their bodies, with the help of qualified, knowledgeable technicians who care about you!

My desire to help those in need of medical care, my interest in the human body, how it works and natural health care experience is what drove me to obtain my nursing degree in 2011. Although I believe that western medicine can be truly miraculous and that there may be a time and place where “a pill” may be necessary for certain medical ailments, it became very clear to me that I wanted to work with a more natural approach to healing.

This clarity came when I had a health scare in which the conventional process of health care did not see any value in a holistic approach to my issue. This experience guided me deeper into practicing the preventative holistic methods that I had grown to love. For the next several years I further educated myself in the natural healing world in areas of nutrition, exercise, aromatherapy, meditation, massage through use of essential oils and living a positive lifestyle.

In the summer of 2018, I received my Level I Thermography Certification through Midnight Sun Healing and in the fall I continued my education receiving my Level II Certification. My passion is to serve you in your healing journey and to continue my education in Thermography and holistic healing as I truly believe in the benefits of preventative medicine.

Wonderful Experience!
I decided to try thermography for by breast health screenings. My mother had breast cancer at a young age, so regular exams are a high priority. Mammograms aren’t a reliable option for me, due to a high breast density. I had a breast and full body scan and then a 3 month follow up. Both Jacque and Terri were so knowledgeable and took the time to go through my scans with me (over the phone) when the results came in. I feel confident using this for my annual screenings.
